There are plenty of concerts that happen around Orange County, especially during the summer months. You can find any that are local to you and then attend as many as you’d like. Many of the concerts will be local bands but sometimes there are cover bands and local celebrities.

Tuesday Movies

Movie theaters have been implementing discounted or free movies on Tuesdays during the summer for years in Orange County. You may even be able to see those summer blockbusters that everyone will be talking about at a steep discount. 

Mason Movie Nights Under The Stars

See two different family-friendly movies on select dates. They are shown outside in the amphitheater. Be sure to bring a blanket, chairs, and even a picnic dinner. Shows start at sunset so you can come early, have some dinner, and enjoy the movie! 

Shipley Nature Center

Talk a walk through the 18-acre nature center on Mondays through Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. The hours may vary but the center is the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon. Your kids will love getting outside and you will love that it’s educational.

Community Day at the Back Bay Science Center

The Marine Mammal Center rescues and rehabilitates marine mammals, you can catch a glimpse before they send them back into the wild! Check them out daily between 10 am and 4 pm.

Sunday Concerts in The Park | Huntington Beach Central Park

Come to enjoy a free concert hosted by the Huntington Beach Concert Band every Sunday. Concerts run from June 26th until September 4th.

Head to one of the many art galleries in Fullerton and pick up a map. The map will show you the path through a world of art. You can take the adventure on the first Friday of the month from 6 pm to 10 pm.
