We all know how fresh flowers can change the look and feel of a situation, a moment, and even an entire event or room.

Husband and wife team Anian and Sabine Schmitt originally founded OnlyRoses in London’s Knightsbridge neighborhood. Over the years, OnlyRoses has grown to provide luxury gifts in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Riyadh and Kuwait City. While the company has had great success in its current locations, OnlyRoses is headed to the US with a non-franchise location in Beverly Hills.

The Beverly Hills location will be the US headquarters for OnlyRoses, shipping orders all across the nation. The new boutique is inspired by old Hollywood glamour and was designed by Italian architect Roberto Baciocchi’s firm Baciocchi Associati. The goal of Baciocchi was to create a luxurious feeling boutique in the heart of Beverly Hills. The warehouse for the new location will be in Hollywood and most orders made by phone or online will be shipped from there.

OnlyRoses provides long-lasting roses that are ethically sourced directly from hand-picked farms far from harm in the Andes mountains near Quito, Ecuador. In addition to providing quality roses, the company runs its own reforestation program in Ecuador to offset the carbon footprint it currently creates.

“We do not buy from a wholesaler, like most flower retailers; we get our roses directly from the farms and ship them ourselves to ensure the highest quality,” said Sabine Schmitt. “Our roses are in our stores at the latest three days after they are cut, whereas if you buy from a regular florist, they will likely source via a wholesaler and therefore the lead time is usually 10 days or even two weeks, so that’s why we can safely say they last longer.”

To celebrate the grand opening of the new US boutique in Beverly Hills, OnlyRoses has partnered with United Friends of The Children, a Los-Angeles-based nonprofit. The non-profit supports foster youth around the country. OnlyRoses will donate 50% of gross sales of the Beverly Hills Only Bouquet to the charity for the first year of business.
