Orange County, Calif. Aug. 30, 2017/Best of Life PR/–The Pacific Symphony is starting its 39th season with a grand opening to remember. The grand opening of the symphony will take place on Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 14-16, at 8 p.m. in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. On the schedule for the opening are classics from many different classical artists.

Songs featured at the opening of the Pacific Symphony’s 39th season include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, “Don Juan” by Strauss, and selections from Wagner’s “Die Walküre,” from the composer’s “Ring” cycle. The music will be conducted by Music Director Carl St. Clair.
St Clair says, “Our musical welcome to everyone for Pacific Symphony’s 39th Season is not the traditional overture and concerto,” Continuing to say, “but rather a bold musical statement symbolizing the strength of our commitment to a lasting classical music presence in our lives and in the cultural life of our beloved community. No music signifies this better than Beethoven’s victorious Symphony No. 5.”
There are a couple different ticketing options for people who wish to attend the symphony in Orange County. Season ticket packages range from $300-$1,160 and single tickets range from $25-$126. For the opening night, there will be a preview talk with Alan Chapman that begins at 7 p.m. The Pacific Symphony will also be starting their Sunday Casual Connections on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. in the same concert hall. During the Symphony’s Sunday Casual, music from “Beethoven’s Fifth Revealed” will be played. The Sunday Casual is a matinee performance and includes Wotan’s Farewell and the Magic Fire Music from Wagner’s “Die Walküre,” featuring the voice of Grimsley. For the Sunday Casual, season tickets range from $88-$299 and single tickets range from $25-$99.
